The author of this new book is I Ketut Donder, a professor of Hindu Cosmology who teaches at the Ratu Bagus Ashram University. After meeting Ratu, Prof Donder began to investigate the deep mysteries surrounding Ratu and the shaking training. His explanations are fascinating. He is trying to correlate ancient wisdom with modern science, producing in the process a plausible explanation of why the shaking movement can cause certain changes in our physical body that will enable us to access cosmic light and the cosmic mind.

The book was inaccessible to us Western students because of our language gap. Ratu thought the text important enough to make the book available to his international students and he commissioned a rudimentary English translation. Some of us who were fortunate enough to see this initial translation were highly excited by the insights sketched out in the manuscript and we decided to edit and clarify the text with the intention to have it printed and made available to a wider public.
