The retreat centre of Ralf and Birgit consists of a main house and two more timber framed buildings located in their garden between old oak and birch trees.
The compound is situated on the upper embankment of the river ‘Weser’, one of the two big North German rivers flowing into the North See. From the main house one has a wonderful view of the green river valley on one side, on the opposite side there is the small town of Bad Karlshafen, a settlement in baroque style architecture dating back to the 17th century. Bad Karlshafen is surrounded by old forests and a national park starts just behind the retreat centre.
While all amenities are in the immediate neighbourhood, looking out into the landscape you may feel like being in an oasis of calm and quiet, in the middle of nature and removed from the busy bustle of big town life - an ideal setting for our mini retreat.
The houses offer accommodation to about 40 participants in shared rooms with private shower facilities. In addition there is an economically priced B&B in the neighbourhood (two houses further down the road) with 9 more double rooms. In summer there are possibilities to put up tents under the trees in the garden, and, last but not least, the taman can be converted into a dormitory for those who bring their sleeping gear.
The taman -about 100 m² with wooden floor – has a fantastic energy for shaking!
We want to start with an evening session on Thursday and finish after lunch on Easter Monday.Those of you who want to stay on, keep on shaking together or want to enjoy the many historical and natural attractions around, are welcome to stay for a little holiday. We are already excited and looking forward to seeing many of you there.

Nearest ICE train stations: Göttingen and Paderborn. Bad Karlshafen has its own train station.
