The story of the Roundhouse: Ty Mam Mawr (House of the Great Mother)

Roundhouse Ty Mam MawrNathan and Shayne knew they wanted to create a life for themselves that served not only their own happiness and love of life, but also to share that with others.  They decided to build a roundhouse that would become a venue for hire. A ‘house’ for sharing, loving, laughing and learning.

The whole process of Ty Mam Mawr coming into being, has been quite a magical journey… and like all journeys it wouldn’t be fun unless we were supremely challenged along the way.

Ty Mam Mawr Round house

Always the energy has given us precisely what we needed.  We called for volunteers… the perfect skills came…we needed certain materials and they somehow appeared.  There has been laughter and tears, rage and bliss and now the baby is born.  And she has soul… she is so beautiful and so alive and has a mind of her own.
